Chandigarh JNN Following the dream of victory in Haryana after Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, the Congress high command has revamped Haryana after a long gap. Parliamentary Affairs and Health Minister in the Government of Manmohan Singh and Ghulam Nabi Azad, veteran Jammu and Kashmir’s Chief Minister, has been given the charge of Haryana. Azad has been removed from Uttar Pradesh as the Haryana Congress chief. Azad’s appointment is considered very important in the next Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections. It will be a big responsibility for them to bring the Congress leaders divided into groups under one flag.
Haryana Congress is in charge of being vacant for nine months
The Haryana Congress has got the state charge nine months later. After Shakeel Ahmed, Kamal Nath was given the responsibility of the charge of the Haryana Congress, but he was unable to unite even the Congressmen who were divided into groups. So he stopped taking interest in Haryana. After becoming the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, his interference in Haryana was completely over.
During the JD by-election, Congress leader K.C. Venugopal had complete interference in Haryana. Under his supervision, Randeep Surjewala was declared a congressional candidate from Jind. It was expected that Venugopal could be given the responsibility of the Haryana Congress, but Congress President Rahul Gandhi handed him the responsibility of the charge of Karnataka as well as the National General Secretary (Organization), instead of Ashok Gehlot.
The 69-year-old Ghulam Nabi Azad Congress has full penetration in high command. They are considered in the confidante of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Although, in Jind bye-elections, all the Congress leaders are trying to win Randeep Surjewala by joining the head the responsibility of maintaining this unity in the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections is now on Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Four years of the organization, the possibility of a change in state president
Organizational activities have stalled in Haryana for the past four years. Block and district president was not formed. Former MP Dr. Ashok Tanwar is the President of Haryana Congress. Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s Khemma has long been trying to remove him from the post. Though Hooda supporters did not achieve special success in this work, now it is believed that after the arrival of Azad, how will the organization get screwed up again? There may also be a change in the President in this episode.
The challenge of uniting all the army of big faces in the state
After Rajasthan, Haryana is a state where the Congress has won the dream of its victory in the coming elections. Haryana is adjacent to the national capital Delhi. Here the Congress is divided into Hooda, Selja, Tanwar, Surjevala, Kuldeep, Kiran, and Capt Khem. There is a whole army of big faces in the state and their direct interference in the Congress high command, but workers are often seen in a dilemma. Now the meeting of new charge is likely to change both the move and the shield of the party.
