Rani will take over as the head coach of the Asian Games

Striker Rani Rampal will lead the 18-member Indian women’s hockey team in Asian Games from 18 August to 2 September in Jakarta, Indonesia. Under the Queen’s leadership, India won the Asia Cup title last year. The responsibility of the vice-captain has been entrusted to experienced goalkeeper Savita. Rajarani Imtifu has been named as the reserve goalkeeper. Indian team wins gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The Indian team will get a tough competition from the world’s eighth team China and ninth-ranked Korea.
