FIFA World Cup 2018: Winner by Shakari’s goal, Switzerland defeats Serbia by 2-1

Thanks to the goal scored by Sharadan Shakira in the final moments, Switzerland defeated Serbia by 2-1 after returning from one goal in the group stage played late on Friday night. Due to this victory, Switzerland has reached the second position with four points in Group-E, while Serbia has slipped to third place with three points.

The first goal came in five minutes

Serbia scored the first goal of the match played at Kaliningrad Stadium within five minutes of the start of the match. Than Tedic, who played from the English club Southampton, gave a brilliant cross in the box with the right flank, on which the striker Alexander Mitrovic gave his team an early lead. After making a goal, Serbia’s game improved and Mitterovik tried to score the match in the 14th minute by hitting the box from the box but he could not make the ball in the goal.

The second half for Switzerland is the best start. In the 52nd minute, midfielder Granit Shaka, who played from the English Club Arsenal, found a place outside the box, taking advantage of that, he scored a staggering 25 yards and scored his team equal to 1-1.

After scoring equal goals, Switzerland’s forward players brought their game more aggressively. In the 58th minute, Shakira tried to score Serbia’s defender on the right end outside the box, but the ball went out on the goalpost. After that, the entire match between the two teams got stiff competition. In the 68th minute, Serbia captain Alexander Kolarov gave a beautiful pass from left flank, but Mitrovic could not control the ball inside the box.

Shakari attempted to score a goal from the outside of the box in the 83rd minute and hit the ball over the goal. Seven minutes later, Shakira got the ball near the half line and he alone won the defending champion of goalkeeper and Serbia on his own, winning the winning goal for Switzerland. Serbia will face Brazil on Wednesday in their final match against Brazil, while Switzerland will face Costa Rica.
