The first half was equal to the match

In the first half of the first half, Saudi Arabia tested Uruguay’s defense. Uruguay, however, returned immediately and Suarez scored a significant margin in the goal. In the 23rd minute, Uruguay got the corner which Carlos Sanchez had. Sanchez’s kick came straight on the foot of Suarez and the star player kept the ball in the net from his foot’s gesture and forward Uruguay 1-0 ahead.

With this, Suarez has moved to the third position in the World Cup, making the most goals for his country. This was Suarez’s sixth goal in the World Cup. Oscar Miguse is the first to score eight goals in the first place.

In the first half, the match never took a side because Saudi Arabia was constantly making changes. In the 26th minute, Haatan Bahebri made the best chance for Saudi Arabia, but he could not keep the shot played from outside the box and the ball went out. Two minutes later, Bahebri failed to score once again.

No goal in the second half

Both teams played aggressive games in the second half also. In the 50th minute, Uruguay got a free kick which Suarez could not put in the net. In the 62nd minute Uruguay once again attacked and got a free kick, but this time Eden Kawani could not score the goal. From here Saudi Arabia was slowly losing its hold on the match. Uruguay’s defense was not allowing his invasion line to make the spot. At the same time, Saudi Arabia’s defense failed to stop the invasion of Uruguay.

A chance to score a goal in the 80th minute from Uruguay was gone. From the middle of the field, Tourea played the ball in the middle, clashing with Kawani, he went out of the very close to the goalpost.

At the last moment, both teams tried to score goals, but the goal could not be reached, and Uruguay succeeded in winning the game while retaining its edge.
