Samsung, a top smartphone manufacturer has launched Galaxy J5 Prime(2016). Now Samsung is apparently gearing up to announce their upcoming smartphone i.e. Samsung galaxy J5 prime(2017) later this month.

The leaked information of Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) specifications was shared by HowTechHack and reveals most of the internals specifications of the upcoming smartphone.

Previously, the handset was spotted on the US FCC, as well as benchmark sites. The smartphone appears to have great specifications according to the leaked specification sheet.

  • According to the sheet, the Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) is powered by a Samsung Exynos 7570 SoC with four 1.4GHz Cortex-A53 cores. This smartphone also has a Mali-T720 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card.

The Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) allegedly to have a 12-megapixel rear camera sensor and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies shooters and video calling. This smartphone has a 5-inch LCD display; You will miss the AMOLED display feature in Samsung J5 prime (2017) as Samsung has probably skipped AMOLED to further lower the cost. But this not end anymore Samsung has included a fingerprint sensor on the front in their phone Galaxy J5 Prime. This phone will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and it will have battery capacity of 2500mAh.

The original Galaxy J5 Prime was debuted in the Indian market with Android 6.0 Marshmallow thought it is said to have received an update to Android Nougat just last month. Original Galaxy J5 Prime price was of Rs. 14,790 and this handset was having a 16GB inbuilt storage and a 32GB variant went on sale at Rs. 14,900.
